Marvelous Music

Today we looked or rather listened to music. We listen to classical music, modern music, sad music and happy music and discussed how does music makes us feel and how inspiring it can be for creating art. We handed in some instruments and had a little orchestra to get us inspired. We looked at the pictures in the gallery and grown up artist talked with little artists about music representations in painting as well as abstract paintings and what sort of music did artist listen to while making this piece. As a collaborative piece we dropped musical notes through rotunda balcony into music stave that looked absolutely amazing. Then we designed own cardboard violins while listening to music. Session finished with a music inspired story time.
